I assume when Ms. McCain made this comment she was referring to the potential for backlash against Merrick Garland from Republican voters, an opinion that completely ignores the fact that, if Senate Republicans would #DoYourJob, the president's nominee would be vetted and voted on and the entire manufactured Supreme Court crisis would be eliminated.
And that's why the American people hate Congress.
