When Kasich was first elected governor, one of the first things he did was to cut funding for schools causing a few hundred teachers to lose their jobs. Apparently, that didn't bother the Chagrin Falls school district too much because a year later, they bought Chromebooks for all students in middle and high school. Seems that it was easier than teaching them to actually write or to go to a library.
