Oregon Becomes The First State To Implement Sweeping Automatic Voter Registration

On Monday, Oregon Governor Kate Brown (D), signed into law a bill that immediately adds 300,000 new voters to their state voter registry.  The Motor Voter bill, which was easily passed by the Democratically controlled legislature, automatically turns every Oregon driver into an Oregon registered voter.

 Every Republican in the state legislature voted against the bill.

    hmnnn, The Left was right while the Right was wrong. Sounds like business as usual.
    Somehow the Right, which talks about the constitution all the time is fixated on keeping voting rights for white folks. The general philosophy of which results on rich white men being elected.
    As a white guy I should agree with this, for no other reason that not sharing the wealth with the poor, the needy, the infirm.
    As an American who believes in our Constitution, as an American who believes in giving a 'leg up' when needed, as an American Christian living in the shadow of Christ, I disagree with every criminally cruelty that erupts from the dark hearted, women hating, racist Right.
    So, roll on Oregon, your ship of state is righted and the seas are calm.
