m'eye thoughts: At their current basic pay rate of $174,000/year, (don't forget they get bonuses for committee work), they will be making $1,567.56 for every day they actually show up at the office.  Candidates like Marco Rubio will undoubtedly record higher daily pay rates. 

2 - The GOP's Debate Disfunction is a Mirror Image of Their Governing Disfunction. 

They can't govern even 15 of their own and they want to be in charge of the entire country?  And filed under Do-I-Laugh-or-Cry, the guy with these hysterical proposals is in the lead:  "Ben Carson floated the idea of not broadcasting the debates on TV.  He also lobbied for a two hour time limit with all 15 candidates in the same debate.  Each would get a five minute opening and closing statement.  Of course that would take two and a half hours."
