Update: Leaders of Rand Paul's PAC Take Leave of Absence After Indictments

On Wednesday I wrote about three men involved with the Rand Paul campaign being indicted for dirty dealings in 2012 when they all were working on Rand's father's campaign.  More on that here.

Update:
Two of the men, Jesse Benton, general consultant for Rand's America's Liberty PAC and John Tate, the super PAC's president have decided to take a leave of absence from the Rand Paul campaign "to vigorously fight to prove that they are innocent of these charges."

That fight may prove problematic in view of the fact that former state Senator Kent Sorenson, the man these three are accused of bribing, has already entered a guilty plea.

No word on whether the third man indicted, Dimitri Kesari, will continue to work for Mr. Paul's organization.
